For the fifth time a in a row the Pernod Ricard Group employees acted as ambassadors of responsible drinking and swapped their workplace for streets in towns in order to teach people make alcohol work for them rather than against them.

The Pernod Ricard Slovakia team had its fair share in presenting among others a cool application called Wise Drinking among 18 000 employees of the global network. An educational charity event called Responsib´ All Day organized for the fifth time launched a campaign in Slovakia dedicated to the basic principles of the responsible consumption of alcoholic drinks. The all day long initiative took to the streets as well targeting the city district Bratislava-Staré Mesto with the intention of addressing the broad public introducing the cool and handy mobile application Wise Drinking. This app not merely can calculate the blood alcohol level after consuming a glass of beer or several cocktails it also displays available and closest means of transportation through geolocation systems to get you home safely.
„One of the company’s core principles is raising awareness on responsible drinking through educating our customers,“ Erik Čížek, the CEO of Pernod Ricard Slovakia clarifying the essence of the event. More than 500 000 leaflets have been disseminated all around the globe within the campaign Responsib´ All Day. To cap it all five Euros has been donated by Pernod Ricard Slovakia for every driven kilometer and employee to the public forum “Pi s rozumom” (Drink sensibly) which will be used for educational purposes at schools.
